Hi, I’m Ahmani.
I’m a Unit Stills, Portrait, Events, and Lifestyle photographer based in Manchester, though I’m always happy to travel for the right project.
Originally from London, I’ve called Manchester home since 2018. I studied Fine Art Photography at Manchester Metropolitan University, and after exploring a few different creative paths, I found my way back to photography — and haven’t looked back since. I’ve now been working professionally for nearly a decade.
I began my career as a documentary-style wedding photographer, but soon discovered a deep love for portraiture. That passion, combined with my interest in visual storytelling, naturally led me to Unit Stills and Lifestyle photography.
My portrait photography has been featured in several exhibitions in collaboration with Heard Storytelling, and some of my lifestyle photography is available for licensing via Getty. I’m available for commissions and collaborations across the UK.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me at the cinema, listening to comedy podcasts (ask me for recommendations!), hiking up big hills, or getting my hands messy in a creative workshop — pottery is a current favourite.

My experience includes working on independent films and student productions, where I’ve developed a strong ability to capture story-driven images without interrupting the flow of production.
I bring enthusiasm, a collaborative mindset, and a constant desire to learn to every set. With a creative eye, silent cameras, and the ability to blend seamlessly into the background, I’m able to document the moments that matter — without getting in the way.
