I’m Ahmani!
I’m originally from London, specifically Camden Town, where I was born and raised, but I currently call Manchester home and have done so since 2018.
When I’m not busy taking photos of lovely people you can find me in a cinema making the most of my MUBI Go pass (if you know, you know), listening to comedy podcasts (I have a few faves that I’m happy to recommend), going on long walks up big hills or attending some kind of creative workshop.

How I got here…
I’ve been a professional for the last 8 years and I love photographing people!
I studied photography at MMU where I spent a lot of time getting creative in the darkroom.
Believe it or not, my first venture into professional photography was working as a cruise ship photographer. If you’ve ever been on a cruise ship don’t worry, my approach is the total opposite!
I then went on to became a documentary style wedding photographer ( I still am actually) and finally discovered how much I enjoy portrait photography and telling storys about individuals.
